Lettings and Facilities Hire

As a school at the heart of our community, Beacon Academy is committed to developing connections with local community groups and organisations and offers its large range of sporting and non-sporting facilities for hire, both on a regular basis and for one-off events.

Thanks to our historical position as one of the first five secondary schools to gain specialist Sports College status, we have an extensive range of sports and performing arts facilities available for hire, including a Sports Hall, Gymnasium, Astro Turf pitch, grass pitches, Main Hall with stage and professional lighting rig, Dance Studio, Drama Studio, and a whole host of classrooms and specialist classrooms.

Our wide range of sport facilities offer the ideal venue for local clubs and teams to hold weekly training sessions, club fixtures, competitions and tournaments. In addition, our sport facilities are also ideal for aerobic, circuit, and personal training sessions too. Our specialist performing arts facilities offer the ideal space for rehearsals, shows and performances.

Our Meeting Room and a select number of classrooms can also accommodate private functions, seminars and training events, conferences and exhibitions at affordable, low cost prices.

Please note: some of the above facilities are available year-round for lettings, however the availability of some facilities is dependent on school activities.
