Introducing the 2025 Student Leadership Team

We are delighted to announce the appointment of our 2025 Student Leadership Team!

Year 10 students were invited to make a formal application for the role of prefect with a series of written responses to questions. Those who were successful were invited to apply for senior roles of Senior Prefect, Deputy Head Student and Head Student with a written letter of application, followed by an interview with: Head of Year, Mr Mason; Assistant Head of Year, Mrs Pollard and Head of Personal Development, Ms Richardson.

At the interview, candidates were asked to give a short presentation about a project they would like to deliver whilst in role. Students pitched a range of ideas, ranging from methods of support for students who are struggling, community projects that would create belonging at Beacon, and how to create an inclusive voting system for student involvement.

We would like to congratulate all students in their newly appointed roles and look forward to working alongside them this year!
