Badminton Tournament Success

Students in Years 8 and 9 were hugely successful in representing the school in a local badminton tournament in Lewes on Monday afternoon.

Both teams competed against other local schools in singles and doubles badminton. The girls' team put out an exceptional performance, were unbeaten in every game and have qualified to the county competition in February. Whilst the boys' team were also extremely resilient and fought throughout the afternoon, missing out on county qualification by just one point!

"Their teamwork, determination and individual talent shone throughout the afternoon. Both teams had frequent discussions on their strategies and tactics, and I was very impressed by the level of talent displayed by the students. We wish the girls' team the best of luck in February as they progress into the county competition stage."
