Debate Tournament 2025 (7)

After months of dedicated practice, our talented Debate Club students confidently showcased their debating skills in a series of mini debates in front of an enthusiastic audience of parents in the Main Hall.

The topics put forward for debate were diverse and thought-provoking, including:

  • This house believes phones should not be allowed in school.

  • This house believes that the triceratops is better than the T-Rex.

  • This house believes that history should not be studied.

  • This house believes that parking should be free.

  • This house believes that media is not good for well-being.

  • This house believes cats are a better house pet than dogs.

  • This house believes that social media should not be allowed to influence people over political issues.

Our students passionately argued both for and against these motions, demonstrating exceptional critical thinking, eloquence, and teamwork. The event was a testament to their hard work and dedication, and we could not be prouder of their achievements.

Thank you to our wonderful Debate Club lead, Miss Keen, and all the parents who attended and supported our young debaters!
